Dr. J and Dr. K
The Javid brother's believes that healthy teeth are an important part of having a healthy and successful life. Good oral care can play a big part in a person's self-confidence and often is a leading factor when making a first impression. For the Doctor's, a successful dentistry practice goes beyond merely treating teeth - the most important reason for being in practice is the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of those we touch and being concerned with a patient's overall needs.
In June of 2003, the two brother's opened Dr. Smile Dentistry is a multi-faceted practice with one simple vision - to provide a -professional, friendly, gentle and pain free environment for every client. Dr. Smile's facilities are outfitted with the latest equipment and technology to offer the best and most cutting-edge treatment available all of our patients.
The Doctor's have grown from the initial Dr. Smile location in El Segundo and now operate three locations in the South Bay area. Each location is a state-of-the-art dental facility that offers a wide range of services including; cleanings, fillings, extractions, and oral cancer detection as well as cosmetic dentistry procedures such as bleaching, bonding, crowns, bridges and veneers. The practice now includes several other caring and knowledgeable doctors and staff that create healthy and beautiful smiles on a daily basis.
Both Doctor's started in 1991 at The University of Southern California which led to a Bachelor Degree in Biology in 1995. From 1995-1997 the brothers were part of a research project at The University of Southern California Neurobiology Department. By 2001 they were graduates of the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry, with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Now are members of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Los Angeles Dental Association. Both are licensed by the State of California.
Hossein Javid, D.D.S.
Dr. Hossein Javid, Dr. J, as he is affectionately called by all, is truly the Dentist for Dentist. His calming demeanor, generous spirit, and keen sense of humor make him a favorite among his patients. His private practice currently has numerous professionals routinely receiving comprehensive treatment under his watchful eye. From his peers in the dental community to fortune 500 executives, his focus to provide quality of care that improves his patients' oral health while creating beautiful smiles.
Dr. H. Javid attended the University of Southern California, along with his brother, Dr. K. Javid, where both earned their Bachelor of Science Degree in 1995 and later a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2001. He went on to become a Premiere Provider for Invisalign Orthodontics Care, certified CEREC trained, certified on Macveneers restorations, and has also completed numerous hours of continuing education in cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Javid is a diplomat and volunteers his time, weekly, for Life Coaching seminars for the past 8 years, now. He is truly committed to improving the quality of life with each person he comes in contact with. He also enjoys Broadway performances, martial arts, traveling, and cooking.
Kayvon Javid, D.D.S. - Mariam Nadi, D.D.S.
Dr. Kayvon Javid is a different kind of dentist. Gentle, patient and caring, he takes the time to provide you with the best care possible. He is well regarded by his patients for his attention to detail by providing a clear explanation of his diagnosis. Rather than being rushed, you know he is here to serve your needs.Dr. K. Javid attended the University of Southern California, along with his brother, Dr. H. Javid, where both also earned their Bachelor of Science Degree in 1995 and later a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2001. Dr. K. Javid has dedicated himself to providing the best care possible by receiving licenses in the areas of Pediatric and Adult Sedation. He is also a Premiere Provider for Invisalign Orthodontics Care, certified CEREC trained, certified on Lumineers restorations, and has also completed numerous hours of continuing education in cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Los Angeles Dental Association. He also volunteers his services to Los Angeles Health Foundation for Pediatrics and the Los Angeles Dental Society.
Dr. K. Javid and his wife, Dr. M. Nadi, also a dentist, currently reside in the South Bay Area, have been married for 7 years and have two children.
